USD 312 Haven Schools

Specific Need

The Haven Schools Education Foundation raises money to help provide classroom grants to support teacher innovation and support to meet the indiviual leacrning needs of each sutudent.

The Haven Schools Education Foundation supports the Employee of the Year program.  Each Quarter we have 1 Impact Award winner & then at the end of the year the Employee of the Year is choosen. Each Impact Winner & the Employee of the Year are provided a classroom grant.  District employees nominatation candiates and a selection committee selects the quarterly and yearly winners. 

Mission

To improve the quality of education by directing resources to areas of identified need and enhancing opportunities for our students, with increased confidence and community involvement in the USD 312 Haven School District.

Profile

The Haven Schools Education Foundation, a 501c(3) not-for-profit corporation, was established in 2006 for the primary purpose of providing support to assist USD 312 with additional funds for our teachers and programs within the educational system.  All donations to the Foundation are tax deductible and funds from these donations are made available to the staff of USD 312 for the benefit of all students of the District.

In the Fall we hold a golf tournament.

In late winter we hold a Dinner/Auction.

We also receive memorial donations, one time donations and will or trust designations. 

Our committee consists of 10 members;  Clark Wedel, Dinelle (Lehner) Hunsberger, Erin (Vierthaler) Peterson, Chuck Haines, Alicia (Kranz) Smith, Bill Royer, Lynn Thalman, Russ Snyder, Yvonne Yoder & Cori (McCurry) Krol.
